Finger Puppet instructions

Embroider the design as usual, stopping before stitching the final outline (not the design outline, but the puppet outline).  I like to stitch the puppets on stiffened felt but any medium weight fabric will do.  You may even use heavy interfacing or stabilizer as the base.

After stitching the front side, slide a second piece of the same fabric under the hoop and stitch the final outline.  Cut around the puppet, being careful to not clip the stitching.

One suggestion from a club member was to stiff some of the puppet with batting, leaving enough room for little fingers to still fit inside.
