Put these beautiful designs on tea towels in a tone on tone color scheme.  Or put them on gift tags for those Hot Cocoa Mix gifts this Christmas, or anytime!  I am putting one on a sweatshirt for my friend who can't live without her fancy coffee each morning!

This is one where I used traditional tear away stabilizer and a color very similar to the fabric.
As you can see, there is a slight puckering but nothing that is unacceptable for a kitchen towel!
Here I used sticky stabilizer and a chocolate brown thread.  All of the towels were washed prior to stitching.
I did press them after stitching so their picture would be the best it could be!

This fabric is a muslin type that I bought on a bolt and cut myself into a small size for towels, hemming 3 sides and leaving the selvage on the 4th side.  I do not like the huge size of the flour sack cloths and usually cut those in half.
